Two years is the length of a term in the US House of Representatives . There are no restrictions on how many times a representative can be re-elected.

( The words "Congressman", "Congresswoman" and "congressmen" are often used to describe only members of the house, but be sure to know that the US Congress includes the Senate as well as the House of Representatives. The senators are also Congressmen, in a way, and they serve six-year terms with 1/3 of the terms expiring every two years. Elections for the House and Senate are held on the same day in November every two years. )
