How many years u need to be in college for to join the marins corp?

From what i have seen and been told by the recruiters your minimum time is 8 years, 4 years active and 4 years inactive service. during this time of innactive service you are able to resume a civillian life, but the marines reserve the right to call you back at any time during this period.

some special jobs require you spend 5-6 years active, jobs with alot of training involved, or require alot of money to be spent on your training usually. I hope this answer helps you or anyone else who is looking out

You have to be at least 18 years of age in order to join. Unless you are 17 you have to ask one of your parents to give permission, otherwise you can join up at the age of 18. Hope this answers your question!

For the Marine Corps I believe it is 4 (one term). I'm not sure about the Navy.

All contracts are eight years with a minimum of four years active duty .

All branches require 20 years service. That is for active duty service. Those that serve in both Active Duty and then in the Reserves will receive partial credit for the reserve years.
