Liberty Lobby is a 1 oz silver round containing .999 silver at 31.1 grams;
$ 9.37 is the "current price" as supplied by numerous websites devoted to metal spot market as of 10-25-08;
But you will find absolutely no one on the planet that will sell at this "current value " ; The dynamics that create value by sales transactions / mutual agreement / supply and demand put the "Value" at a much higher figure. In fact, you will find a 50-80% mark-up premium for silver in most forms; for example, Check the web sites like Goldline; Kitco; even the U.S. Mint and compare the cost to obtain 1 oz. of silver.
If knowledgable buyers are willing and able and agree to these websites purchase prices then this would be a telltale indicator of value in contrast to the market price.
(almost all of the 1 oz. silver sales on eBay are above $17.00 for this past week as the current market prices says otherwise)
This "Current Price" of $9.37 seems out of touch for the moment - hang on to what you have and wait to see how the market changes during the next couple of months.
It would be logical to say the "worth" is comparable to the sales prices going on all around us between buyers and sellers;
Call your local coin shop and ask them "how much are your 1 oz. silver rounds" ? if they say "$ 9.00 "call me - I'll take all they have.......
That is a privately minted silver round, valued only for the ounce of silver it contains -- currently about $17
It is worth the price of silver, which at the moment is $27.35 per troy ounce. The price of silver fluctuates very rapidly however and may change value daily or even hourly.
It is not a coin but a medal and considered a silver round. Liberty Lobby was an American political advocacy organization and they probably sold these medals as a way to raise money. They are worth the silver value of about $15 and not much more.
A 2004 American Silver Eagle in Uncirculated condition is worth about $17. Proof is worth about $40.
Sorry no US 1845 silver eagles, but there are Seated Liberty dollars of 1845.
You don't have an official U.S. coin. The Liberty Lobby was an extreme-conservative political group that didn't trust the Federal monetary system and issued its own pieces.
It is worth whatever the silver content is. From my searches it appears it is 1 troy ounce of silver which at the time of writing is worth about $22. However, the price of silver fluctuates on a minute by minute basis.
The 1989 (and all other dates) One Dollar Silver Eagle coins are bullion coins that have 1 ounce of pure silver in them with a value that follows the market price of silver which changes by the minute and right now it's $17.34 per ounce. Because of that the worth of the coin is a little less than spot price at time of sale.
A 1992 American Eagle Bullion Silver Dollar in MS65 condition is worth: $24.00.
