It depends on the state you are licensed in and what kind of facility you choose to work in. Long term care facilities, such as nursing homes, will not pay as much as your local hospital. Usually , in the hospitals, you will be signing a contract to work for them at least one to five years, but you may be able to start up at around 30-32 dollars an hour, plus your sign up bonus for contracting. Working for a private practice is really negotiable. Hope this helps.
