I think it depends a lot on your experience and your certification. If you're just starting out maybe 10-12 dollars an hour. I think also location plays a part in it too. Depending on what state you're in.
In bigger cities your wage can increase quite a bit. Depending on your skills and experience you can make up to $25/$30 an hour. If you're fresh out of school, you will most likely make $12/$15 an hour.
A degree in Dental Hygiene (either a Bachelors or some schools offer an Associates) can earn you more money! (About $10 more an hour) Look into it!
