Sorry- your question is too broad to answer. There are estimates of money spent on firearms by private parties in the US, but only rough guesses. Military expenditures- for what country? Most will not release that information.

Bottom line- a LOT of money!

You would be horrified if you could see statistics on what all countries spend on weapons.
If only 1 % of that was spent on real, meaningful diplomacy the world may stand a chance of surviving.
