Under current USMC standards it is not required that you wear a "skivvy shirt" under the utility uniform. However, I have yet to be in a command that allows female to get away with it. The males I have seen have only gone without it while in the field, but females are guaranteed an ass chewing if caught doing it. Semper double standard. Hope that answers your question. Cpl P
