Confucianism is mans doctrine, Christianity is actually not a religion, that is a phrase coined by men who's understanding is based upon philosophia doctrine, which also happens to be the base doctrine for confucianism.
To be religious is and act its not a thing you believe in. You don't believe in religion. You can be Religious in your belief and practice of a doctrine. When did Christ or our Father every ask you to be Religious? What good does it do one to go through motions in a religious manner as prescribed by a doctrine?
Our Father never gave us religion, he gave us rules (Law) which we were to abide by as we moved through our probationary, flesh life. Those rules would assist us in achieving good works. We will all be judged in the end, according to our works (Revelation 20). The law is there to keep us straight on a pathway of good works. Sin is transgression of that law, and a price must be paid for that transgression. Christ paid the price for our transgression on the cross and can forgive you of those transgressions and have them removed as bad works against your name. Judgement is the separation of good works and evil works. Those souls who's works are determined at Judgment to be evil, go into the lake of fire and are destroyed for ever. Those souls who's works are determined at judgment to be good, continue to the next earth age. The plan is written in Revelation 20 and 2nd Peter chapter 3. Confucianism will not earn you the good works you are attempting to achieve.
