WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Bush administration has been carrying out secret reconnaissance missions to learn about nuclear, chemical and missile sites in Iran in preparation for possible airstrikes there, journalist Seymour Hersh said Sunday. The effort has been under way at least since last summer, Hersh said on CNN's "Late Edition." In an interview on the same program, White House Communications Director Dan Bartlett said the story was "riddled with inaccuracies."
Iran has not attacked the United States, with two exceptions. It stormed the US embassy in 1979 and took the US delegation hostage for 444 days. Iran also attacked the US covert operatives sent into Iranian airspace to retrieve the hostages since the US craft were in violation of Iranian airspace regulations.
The internment camps were established to limit communication between Japanese-Americans and Japan due to a condern that the planning of the attack on Pearl Harbor could lead to a direct attack on the US mainland. There was no difinite connection that someone within the US was or was not involved in the planning of the attack.
They were planning to attack the president, Andrew Jackson.
Due to their effective family planning, Iran is in STAGE THREE
If you are planning to visit Iran, together with your wife, it would be important to change your wardrobe and some customs, given the extremism typical of Iran.
It is highly unlikely that Iran would attack North Korea since the two countries are allies. It is possible, but still very unlikely, that Iran would attack South Korea. There would be no reason to justify it from an Iranian Foreign Policy Perspective.
Unable to determine.
Yes Japan is going to be at war this year. It is said that they are planning a nuclear attack on the US.
Eventually yes but but he wanted to conquer all of Europe he had Japan attack the US
The US Embassy hostages in Iran.
There are no US troops presently in Iran (as of May 2008)
It is unknown at this point whether Iran does or doesn't have nuclear weapons at its disposal. Iran is a big issue for watchdogs these days. It is a topic of extreme caution. If they ever do get to posses them, the weapons have to be transported in order to launch them and it is a process. The location of Iran makes this process a very complicated one to attack on the main us but certain American targets in other places of the world could be threaten. Right now the swine flu should be more worry some that Iran launchiung a nuclear attack on the US but is something to keep an eye for. -It is more likely that Iran will sell supplies for making nuclear weapons than that they will use them any time soon.
