My pharmacy, Express Scripts, called me yesterday and told me that as of 1/01/08 I could no longer get Methadone 40mg wafers. I have been on them for years for chronic pain and they are by far the best form of opiate to control pain. They did say that Methadose 40mg would still be available for opiate withdrawal. Now instead of taking two a day I'll have to take eight 10 mg pills aday. It doesn't make sense to me.
YES
Methadone comes in 10mg tablets, 40mg tablets, and it also comes in liquid form (cherry and clear).
It's difficult with tablets. Methadose is a liquid form and to measure it look on the label to see mg/ml.. if it is 30 mg/ml, and your dose is 60 mg.......draw out two ml with a baby syringe. Or a marked dropper.
methedone doesn't exist and methadone is only in methadone tablets.
Methadone is primarily available as a standalone medication in various formulations, including oral tablets, oral solution, and injectable forms. It is commonly prescribed under brand names such as Dolophine and Methadose for pain management or as part of a treatment program for opioid use disorder. Additionally, it may be included in combination products for specific medical uses, but it is most frequently administered on its own. Always consult a healthcare provider for specific medication formulations and uses.
what is the shelf life of methadone when it comes in 40 mg tablets?
Yes, drug tests look at metabolites, and since both forms contain methadone hydrochloride, the drug test will be positive for methadone metabolites.
methadonehad no effect on the testes of rats given HCG and Methadone. COPIED FROM : ChaCha!I 'm thinking of doing the Hcg diet too and i'm on methadone as well. i found the above on chacha!
Yes. I've been on methadone for almost 6 years and always disolve my tablets in water or other liquid. But I get the 40 mg tablets not 100% sure about 10mg but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt the dose.

yes methadone builds up in the liver and can be very harmful when taken with alcohol.
