As far as is known to Physics, there's no limit to the distance over which gravity

is active, and no limit to the force of gravity between two masses.

According to current theories of physics, there is no maximum limit to gravity. Gravity can become arbitrarily strong if a sufficient amount of mass or energy is concentrated in a small enough space. However, at extreme conditions such as those inside a black hole or during the early stages of the universe, our current understanding of physics may break down.
