According to a MILPER message posted on the HRC web site the official release date is 0730 hrs on 08 APR 10. It also states that the prepositioned list will be available for download by authorized users at 0730 hrs on 01 APR 10. I figue that after April 1st that list will be floating around for all to see. 2010 SFC promotion list release date is scheduled for mid-April. It is running about a month later than normal, because of many reasons. Keep checking the related links to see when the Army announces the official release date.
The FY13 SFC promotion list is available only to United States soldiers in the Army who have login access. This is the list of soldiers who are going to receive promotions.
Here are the requirements for the SFC 2010 board. ! 6 year minimum TIS This chapter provides the rules and steps for managing the Centralized Promotion System to SFC, MSG, and SGM for the Active Army and USAR AGR Soldiers. a. The CDR, HRC-Alexandria (AHRC-MSP-E) (CDR, HRC-St. Louis (AHRC-MSL-E) for USAR) promotes Soldiers to the grades of SFC, MSG, and SGM. b. A centralized promotion system has been in effect for promotion of enlisted Soldiers since 1 January 1969 for SGM, 1 March 1969 for MSG, and 1 June 1970 for SFC. c. Selection and promotion authority by HQDA does not deprive local CDRs of the authority to reduce Soldiers in the grade of SFC, MSG, and SGM for inefficiency or conviction by a civil court. d. Criteria for primary and secondary zones of consideration for each grade will be announced by the CDR, HRC-Alexandria (AHRC-MSP-E) (CDR, HRC-St. Louis (AHRC-MSL-E) for USAR) before each board. e. Soldiers in the grade of SSG, SFC, and MSG may decline consideration for promotion and (if applicable) attendance at the U.S. Army Sergeant's Major Academy (USASMA). (1) Declinations exercised by Soldiers will be irrevocable for that board of consideration but will have no impact on future eligibility or selection. Declinations must be received by the announced board convene date. (2) Soldiers who take no action to decline consideration will be, by default (and provided they are otherwise eligible), considered for promotion. (3) Soldiers who exercise a declination of consideration will not, under any circumstances, be authorized a future standby advisory board for the board for which they declined consideration. (4) Statements submitted for the purpose of declining promotion consideration will not be filed in the Soldier's Official Military Personnel File (OMPF). f. Soldiers serving SRB or enlisted bonus service will not be promoted outside their CPMOS. g. If the Soldier is in the zone of consideration for an HQDA promotion board, a Complete-the-Record evaluation report may be submitted according to the HRC-Alexandria (HRC-St. Louis for USAR) message announcing the zones.
Usually it comes out around the 23 or 24th of March. I'm waiting on it as well.. It should be out this Friday..!!
