The Nonlegislative Powers.
The non-legislative power does not come from the legislature and therefore affects the activities of the people in a given society.
The judicial power is the state of legislature ability to impeach. The judicial power is the constitutional authority vested in courts and judges to hear and decide justiciable cases, and to interpret, and enforce or void.
Voted to impeach
Five non-legislative powers of Congress include: 1. Power to impeach officials (ex: President) 2. Power to amend the Constitution. This requires a 2/3 vote by Congress members and ¾ approval by state legislatures 3. Power to give advice and consent 4. Power to conduct investigations (ex: Watergate Scandal) 5. Power to choose executive leaders
Both Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton underwent impeachment trials in the Senate. Neither one was convicted.
Implied powers are powers that are perceived to be in place. Enumerated powers are powers that are specifically listed. An example of enumerated powers are the powers listed in Article I, Section 8 of the US Constitution.
c. reserved powers
Reserved powers are the powers set aside for the states or people.
None..state powers have state powers and federal powers have federal powers. The powers not given to the federal government belongs to the state so they each have different powers.

Reserved powers, are the powers kept by the state Government.
