Military pay grades are identical across the service and are not associated, typically with MOS or Rating. Paygrade is a matter of rank, time in service, and hazard of duty. While the performance of some jobs in the military may carry with it an increase in pay or a stipend, the pay is not the result of the service member's career specialty.

GS-11, is a federal civil-service paygrade and there are MANY thousands of employees holding this paygrade scattered throughout every agency of the government. The qualifications for any of these jobs vary WIDELY depending on the job you wish to apply for. Contact the agency you wish to work for and ask for a job vacancy announcement for the job you wish - all the qualifications for THAT job will be listed on it.

Three categories of labor grades.Skilled labor, where workers developed special skill training. Also, unskilled labor, where workers receive no special training or have few special skills.Three, professionals, these workers with an advanced degree to do their jobs. These labor grades are often said to be non competing labor grades because workers rarely move from one grade to another and do not compete salary wise with each other. There are reasons why they do not compete with each other.
