Andrew Jackson believed the president should be a strong, direct representative of the people, embodying their will and interests. He championed the idea of a more democratic government, where the president acted as a leader who was accountable to the common citizen rather than to elite interests. Jackson's approach emphasized decisiveness and action, reflecting his belief in the executive branch's power to shape policy and govern effectively.
President Andy Jackson was never impeached (although many believe he should have been for his treatment of the southern tribes).President Andrew Johnson was impeached, and that happened 24 February 1868.

It is not true that President Andrew Jackson was almost impeached. You are thinking of Johnson, not Jackson. And in Johnson's case, it was a complicated matter of post Civil War politics. Some people thought that Johnson, a southerner, should not be allowed to succeed Lincoln following the assassination of Lincoln.
He Beleaved that the President should be in charge, becasue they wanted to get things done faster
Obviously Clay did not think that Jackson should be president. He did not think that Jackson had the kind of experience that a president needed and thought the Adams did. He also wanted to be president himself someday soon and knew that Adams would appoint him to the office of secretary of state, which at that time was the stepping stone to the presidency.
