Your information is backwards I went in in 1990 as a 12B

Once you hit your NCO ranks you went into the 20's

Now they removed the F and C series which were combined together in the early to mid 90's

Now they are all under 21 Series.

In short, take your 1st 21B and put it where your 12B is and you would then be correct.

21B was a Military Occupational Speciality in the United States Army. 21B was the MOS for enlisted Combat Engineers, prior to the reorganisation which occurred from 2001 to 2004. The 21B MOS no longer exists, and 12B is now the MOS for Combat Engineers.
