the model 46a is worth around $150
The Westernfield Mod 46A is a Mossberg Mod 42.
Mossberg made it. It's very similar to Mossberg's model 46.

The Mossberg 46A is a bolt-action rifle that was first introduced in 1947. It was designed for use with .22 Long Rifle cartridges and was popular for its accuracy and reliability. The "S" in the model name indicates a sporter type, while "L" and "LR" refer to its use with .22 Long and .22 Long Rifle ammunition, respectively. Production of the Mossberg 46 series continued into the early 1960s.
Depening on condition and completeness, (mag parts, sights, sling swivels, etc) anywhere from $100 to $250 for an excellent condition. Very good target rifles.
$100-$200, if you have an excellent condition rifle, complete with all sights.
My research indicates that this rifle was a Mossberg Mod. 46 which was manufactured in the late 1930's and early 40's
