In bootcamp, a beatdown is when you are exercised to the point of exhaustion. You can expect to do jumping jacks, situps, pushups, mountain climbers, squats, sharks, and many other exercises that can be done using only your body. This can go on for just a few minutes, to a good hardy beatdown of 1-3 hours straight, breaking only for a quick sip of water. Not to worry though, you will get better at exercise and it will get easier as you progress. Your division WILL get beat down on a regular basis no matter how well it is doing as a whole. Just avoid getting beatdowns because of something stupid you did as an individual. Grin and bear it and remember that bootcamp isn't very long. Oh yeah, when your drill instructor/RDC says the division has been medically cleared, get ready for the beatdowns to begin.
