The CIA World Factbook is the government's almanac. If you want to know anything about any nation in the world, from its land area to the name of its leader and what drug problems it has, you can find it in the World Factbook.
The World Factbook is an unclassified publication that anyone can get. They used to sell it, but now it's available to download from the CIA's website. (If you want a printed copy, they'll still sell you one.) It's a really great book, and everyone should have it.
