I had a set I purchased in 1974, even with the price increase of silver, nickel, copper and metals I could no sell it for anything remotely close to my cost. It turns out many of the coins in the set had been polished which reduces their value.
The short answer is they a'int worth much!
There is no such thing as a 1968 Franklin halfdollar. But there is a John F. Kennedy half dollar from 1968.

John F. Kennedy
It's not JFK, it's Ben Franklin and the value is about $12.00 just for the silver. NOTE: JFK appeared in 1964 for the first time on the half dollar
It is either John F Kennedy or Franklin D Roosevelt; which do you think?
John F. Kennedy, since 1964. From 1948 to 1963, Benjamin Franklin. Prior to that, various images of Miss Liberty.
Priceless. The last Franklin half is dated 1963. All half dollars dated 1964 and later carry a portrait of President John F. Kennedy. Please check the coin again and post a new question.
