Please take a look at your pocket change! ALL American coins carry that motto, so its presence doesn't distinguish your coin from billions of others. (btw, it's 3 words, E PLURIBUS UNUM, just like it's spelled on the coins)

Post a new question giving the coin's date, how worn it is, and whether it has a mint mark. On older dollars the mint mark is usually near the eagle's tail feathers. There may not be one, but if there is, it'll most likely be a D, S, O, or CC.
