Her German shepherd traveled with her after her husband became President. It's name was "Clipper" and when one reporter asked what it ate, she sent a note back to him saying simply "reporters." Then there was Pushinka, which was the children's dog. JFK had an allergy to dogs so they were kept to a minimum at the White House. In the 70's, she had a spaniel named "Shannon" and was often caught by the paparazzi walking him at night in various disguises.
