During presidential memorials, there's always a 21 gun salute. It would stand to reason that a 21 gun memorial salute would honor the memory of his pet too. But if firing off a memorial salute is too much, then one could consider having the pet cremated and having the cremains placed on shotgun shells and placed in an engraved display case.
