Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and civilian rules and regulations applicable to air bases (they need to know all four, because an Air Force plane might need to land at a Marine Corps Air Station or a Navy pilot might find himself temporarily stationed on an Army airfield. Civilian rules are important not only because military planes fly through civil-controlled airspace, but lots of National Guard and Air Reserve units are located on civilian airports...and Rhein-Main Air Base, the busiest military airfield in Germany, is colocated with Frankfurt's airport.) A few things someone wanting to become a fighter jet pilot will need to know are anything and everything there is to know about a jet. You may want to start to study jets and there manuvers, flights, controls, designs, and equiptment.
Yes.
You will also need a joystick for FS Fighter Pilot.
air force of course
Private military companies are not authorized to engage enemies offensively. Therefore, PMCs have no need for fighter pilots. However I do know they hire helecopter pilots and may (i dont know for sure) hire pilots for transport purposes
Techinally, yes. There are less and less fighter planes now and air forces are getting more picky in choosing their pilots
In order to be a fighter pilot in the united states, you must be a military officer. To be a military officer, you must graduate from college. However, in times where fighter pilots are desperately needed, the standards can change. For instance, in WWII, the standard dropped from a full college education, to a high school diploma.
Because the pilot has to be able to know everything he needs to do
A pilot should know if they are a pilot of a boat or of an airplane. One floats on the water, the other flies in the air.
Why would you need to know that?
I don't know about the other services, but the Air Force allows PRK corrective eye surgery for pilots and crews but not Lasik. It also depends on what kind of pilot you want to be. The requirement of fighter aircrafts is certainly stricter than C130 propeller cargo plane.
First, you have to be extremely smart. You need good reports from school, then you have to pass a strenuous fitness test and aptitude tests.
