I am not sure which "Dorothy Quincy Adams" you are asking about. There was a Dorothy Quincy, but her married name was Hancock, and she was the wife of John Hancock; today, the Quincy home is a tourist site in the city of Quincy MA, as is the Adams home, where John and Abigail lived. The Quincy family was very famous in early Massachusetts, and Dorothy Quincy was well-known as a hostess, giving parties which many important people of her day attended. John Quincy Adams (whose mother was Abigail, and father was President John Adams) did have a wife, but her name was not Dorothy-- it was Louisa.
The Adams family home is known as Peacefield and also as the Old House. John and John Quincy and later generations of Adams lived there.
John Quincy Adams is his full name.

John Adams did not have a middle name, his full name was John Adams Jr. I have read two separate things one says John Quincy Adams was the first President with a middle name, another says John Quincy was his full first name and he didn't have a middle name, I don't know which is accurate.
His middle name was Quincy.
Peacefield, sometimes called Braintree, in Quincy Massachussetts not Montecello, that's Thomas Jeffersons second home in France
Abigail Adams named John Quincy from his father, and grandfather, I think.
There were two: * John Adams, 1797-1801 * John Quincy Adams, 1825-1829
John Quincy Adams son of John Adams hence the name.
