This seems to be an almost impossible bit of information to come by, but a prop house in London is selling vintage reproductions of the infamous "white fiver" that they claim to be very accurate. They're 21 cm x 13.5 cm, or 8.27" x 5.31" which looks about right:

Took a long d*mn time to track this relatively simple dimension down, for some reason.

How much is a white 5 pound note worth?

The 'A' series £5 note, or 'White Fiver' was first issued in 1793, when it was worth in today's money some £437.16, and remained in circulation until 1957 when its equivalent value was some £83.20. The worth of a white fiver today is somewhere between £50 and £120 depending so very much on condition and age. The average value of a white fiver today is circa £60-70 which you will notice is actually less than when in circulation. It would have made more financial sense to have spent one when in circulation than holding one as an investment as they have not yet reached a higher value. Simon Holmes.
