Which US presidents owned slaves?

There were 9 US presidents that had slaves at some time. These were George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Andrew Jackson, John Tyler, James K. Polk, Zachary Taylor, Andrew Johnson, and Ulysses S. Grant.

Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Jackson,Tyler and Taylor all had a large number of slaves to work their plantations. Polk and Andrew Johnson owned some slaves from time to time. William Henry Harrison owned slaves as a young man in VA. Van Buren reportedly owned a slave as a young man. Grant managed his father-in-law's slaves in Missouri and had some willed to his wife.

Of the Presidents who served before the civil war, most were slave-owners. John Adams, his son John Quincy Adams, Millard Fillmore and Franklin Pierce did not own slaves. James Buchanan purchased two slaves from his brother-in-law but immediately freed them. William Henry Harrison and Martin Van Buren had both owned slaves earlier in their lives, but (like Buchanan) did not own slaves during their presidencies. Of the Presidents serving after 1860, only two had been slaveowners. Andrew Johnson had owned slaves earlier in his life, as had Ulysses S. Grant, who is known to have owned at least one slave and who profited from the use of slaves belonging to his father-in-law.

George Washington had slaves him and few others I'm not sure of their names, but I know for a fact that Washington owned slaves and would talk how we should all be equal but he had slaves. Washington was very 2-faced and I really dislike him for that reason and I hated studying him.
