Thomas Jefferson was one of the founding fathers of the United States. He wrote the Declaration of Independence, was President of the United States, and helped shape the country. He was an intellectual, statesman, and third president. He also was governor of VA, minister to France, secretary of state, vice president. He is remembered for his belief of natural rights of man as he expressed them in the Declaration of Independence. His impact on his times is equaled by few other in American history.
