The piece of rock is called Ancient Art. It is part of a group of sandstone towers just outside of Moab Utah. The towers are known as the Fisher Towers, Ancient Art being the easiest safest and by far the most popular in the group. The route they are most likely climbing is called Stolen Chimney and can be free climbed at the grade of 5.10. It is a mixture of traditional and sport climbing. The tower is known for its small exposed summit.

The climbers climbing in the commercial is suspect. Note the clothes are clean. Pure white at the end of the climb. Given the windy, dusty and dirty nature of climbs in this area, who has witnessed any climber being "clean" at the end?

Moab, UT Fisher Towers. We shot from a helicopter! Edit: More specifically, the formation they summit is Ancient Art on the route called Stolen Chimney. I climbed this a few years ago -- even cooler is, where the woman in the ad stands on the top of the tower is on a loose block that moves as you stand on it! Edit: Adding the the fact that the top is loose, there are also no anchors from the last 20, or so, feet. This means if you fall, you fall about 40 feet! (20 ft. for the tower, 20 ft. the rope length from the climbing the tower). Just makes the fact she climbed and was standing on there ever more impressive. Source: Having climbed it myself.
