As of my last update in October 2023, the youngest person known to have dunked a Basketball on a 10-foot rim is Jordan Anthony, who accomplished this at the age of 12. His achievement gained significant attention on social media and in sports circles, showcasing his impressive vertical leap and basketball skills at such a young age. However, records in sports can frequently change, so it's worth checking the latest sources for any updates.
the hoops at 10 feet, right ?
For a male, he should be dunking a 10 foot tall basketball goal at a maximum height of 6 feet 7 inches tall. And for a female, she should at least be able to dunk a 10 foot tall basketball goal at 8 foot tall.
Evan Lysacek is the youngest, born on June 4, 1985.
A person can be 3 feet 6 inches tall and dunk a basketball by training themselves hard enough to give a 52 inch vertical jump
The diameter of an NBA basketball is just under 9.5 inches. The height of an NBA rim is 10 feet off the ground. Therefore, a minimum height of 10' 91/2' would be required to slam dunk.
the offical height is 10 feet but outside school and stuff raise them to 11 and 12 feet so no one will dunk and bend the rim
Bill Dunk was born on 1938-12-10.
Mary Bell commited murder at age 10.
If you have 10 people in line with the oldest in the front and the youngest at the end of the line, what is the relative age compared to the person in front of you?
If your 5' 10 it depends on how long your arm is. Jumping 4 feet like the other person said would allow you to hit your head on the rim. You probably need about two feet to be able to dunk the basketball. I am 5' 6 and I can almost dunk, NO JOKE! What helped me achieve this was an elite basketball program call The Vertical Leap and when following the steps right you can inproving dunking a lot. Or if you just want to know how high you can jump it's probably about 2 1/2 feet or 30 inches which is pretty good if you are dunking.
10 years old
There is no minimum height you need to be to slam dunk although, obviously, the taller one is the easier it is to do it. The smallest person I have seen slam dunk is former NBA player Spud Webb who won the NBA slam dunk competition at the 1986 All Star Game. Webb was 5 feet 7 inches (1.70 meters) tall. Click on the 'Spud Webb Dunking' link below to see highlights from the 1986 NBA Slam Dunk contest 6'1 or under---You can't 6'2-6'3---Maybe you can, but if you are 6'2, most likely not (You have to jump really high) 6'4---You can possibly dunk, with a little bit of strength 6'5---You can dunk properly 6'6---You can dunk like Kobe Bryant, but not like Shaq at 7'1 6'7 or higher---You could dunk like nothing!
