Charles Dawes was the Vice President from 1925-1929 under President Calvin Coolidge (1923-1929)
Charles G. Dawes was his vice president during his second term. From 1923 to 1925 there was no vice -president because Coolidge was himself the vice president until Harding died. There was no way to replace the vice-president until the 25th amendment was ratified in 1967.
There was a vacancy in the office of Vice-President between August 2, 1923 and March 4, 1925.
The 30th President of the United States was Calvin Coolidge from August 2, 1923 to March 4, 1929. His Vice President was Charles Dawes from 1925-1929.

The country did not have a vice-president until a new one was elected in the next presidential election. In those days, there was no procedure for replacing a vice-president who vacated his office. (George Mifflon Dallas from Pennsylvania became the next vice-president on March 4, 1845.)
Well, he did have one, Charles Dawes, after he was elected to his own term in 1924 but remember that Coolidge was vice president under Warren Harding and became president when Harding died in 1923. At that time there was no constitutional provision for appointing a vice president if that office was vacant so there was no vice president for the remainder of Harding's term. The 25th Amendment to the constitution, allowing for legal replacement of the Vice President, was not enacted until 1967.
Coolidge was the vice-president of the United States when Warren Harding died. That is why Coolidge first became president. He later was elected to term of his own.
