Why didn't Andrew Jackson like Indians?

Of course he did. He learned to fear and hate Indians from an early age and was known to be a bold and resourceful Indian fighter, thirsting for 'encounters with savages. In negotiating sessions, he always addressed Indians as though they were children, irrespective of their age, education, or intellectual maturity. The removal of Native Americans west of the Mississippi River, known as the Trail of Tears, happened on his account. Andrew Jackson lacked patience, and by his pressure to move things along quickly he caused unspeakable cruelties to innocent people who deserved better from a nation that prided itself on its commitment to justice and equality. It was hard to like Indians in those days, since they was at almost perpetual war against the settlers like Jackson was. Sometimes the war was open and battles would be fought and a peace treaty would be signed. But then young Indians would say they had not signed the peace treaty and other tribes would say they had not signed any agreements and hostilities would begin again often with no warning. Innocent farmers would be killed while working the fields that they had so laboriously cleared, the women and children would be killed and their houses and crops burned. Jackson saw his friends so killed and he and his wife often feared for their own safety.

Reason that native americans hate Jackson is because Jackson was a major military general, who chased after a group of seminoles after they had butchered and scalped a group of floridian settlers. They were chased into the swamps of Florida and were hunted down and taken out. Spain, being the owners of the land attempted to bring Jackson to justice which failed, thanks to John Quincy Adams.
