Why is it important to have good judgment?

Parents, contrary to popular misconception, only have two jobs. One is to prepare that child to make it through the world when the parent is no longer around to care for them. This is done by passing on lessons the parent has learned and the values that continue the family's moral traditions. The second job is to protect that child until old enough to take care of himself. People should not become parents until they themselves have matured enough to now guide, shape and nurture a new human being. Any carelessness in raising that child will result in great damage to the child and to all that come in contact with the person that child will become.

Without good judgement we don't know how to choose our friends or mates wisely and could get into trouble. YOU are who you hang around with! Without good judgement we wouldn't have that instinct to do well in business both career orientated or personal. We wouldn't know if we want a religious belief system or not. Good judgement is wisdom and it comes with listening, watching and learning.
