Each person's situation is different. Too broad of a question to answer but here's a shot. Widows are eligible to begin drawing at age 60 if they have not remarried before that time. They do not get their own and their spouse's but they may be entitled to their spouses. If they already get 500 on their own and are entitled to 600 on their spouse's then they will now get 100 from their spouse. Disabled widows are eligible at 50.
