It's worth one dollar.
That depends on which one dollar coin you mean. Anything 1935 and earlier had some version of Liberty on it. Then the large dollars in the 1970s had President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The small dollars immediately following showed Susan B. Anthony. In 2000, there was the introduction of a new golden small dollar (made mostly of copper) with an image of Sacagawea. Then starting in 2007 are Presidential dollars, which will eventually have pictures of every US President (four new coins per year).
The only U.S. one dollar coin dated 2000-D is a SACAGAWEA dollar. It's very common and only face value.
Although it's the first year of issue, many rolls are still available from banks. It's just a dollar.

50 cents.
It's still worth one dollar.
If you're holding it, not much more than a dollar. If it has never been touched and is in either uncirculated-proof state then it could be worth an extra dollar or two. But the average 2000 D Sacajawea dollar is worth just a dollar. I'd say spend it. If you got it in change, $1. Remember that the coin is not really gold, it's just made from a manganese-brass alloy that looks golden. You can buy a nice uncirculated one from a dealer for $2 or so. But don't try to sell him yours. He has rolls and bags of them in the back room.
They're worth one dollar each.
