Yes, but your ability of social mobility to achieve a different salary is not affected. Unless there is a secret way of making money without labor, which could be possible. The Caste System could allow for the elite to carry on by family name. You need all of the classes to survive at least in this day and time. In a perfect world we would all be rich and the social status in society would not matter. That means the end of welfare and the end of poverty. In conclusion the caste system still exist without it we would be better off. In my opinion we need to raise the standard of life and the quality of life. A country needs to give something to the people that is free but its not money, its something that they can be proud of their country for. clean streets, a healthy environment for their children. And a job to sustain their pride, weather it be to provide for a family or just for themselves. Families need to be given the right to raise their own families and not let the schools decide for them what is best.
No such US coin exists. The decimal system of currency didn't even exist till the late 18th century, not to mention that the US wasn't even a country in the 1600s!

As a religion Sikhism is against Caste System and Sikh Gurus throughout condemns the practice of caste system. The Hindu caste system is not used in the US because the country values equality, human rights, and individual freedoms. The caste system goes against these principles by assigning social status and opportunities based on birth, not merit. In the US, discrimination based on caste, race, or religion is illegal.
Indian caste system is not like racism in the US. Racism was not originated in the US but it was produced soon after the British founded a strong base in the southern part of the US. Racism is not descent based. Racism doesn't have any touchability or untouchability issues. Indian caste system is descent-based. A Hindu is born with caste, lives with caste and die with caste. An American is not born with racism. Indian caste system is monstrous endogamic in character. Purity and impurity is the basis of the caste system. A casteless Dalit's touch will pollute a caste person. But the touch of an African American doesn't pollute a white American. Racism is purely class-based, where as casteism is caste-based and there is no place for caste-ridden society. Hinduism is caste and caste is hinduism. If caste is annihilated hinduism will be annihilated; or if hinduism is annihilated, caste will be annihilated.
Gandhi worked to eradicate untouchability and discrimination based on caste, but he did not completely abolish the caste system in India. The caste system is deeply ingrained in Indian society and continues to exist in various forms despite efforts to eliminate it. Gandhi's work did contribute to increased awareness and efforts toward social equality.
it affected the caste system by bringing new content to the caste system.
The caste system is a system of social ranks determined by occupation, economic status, religious significance and so forth.Caste systems exist or have existed in many cultures including India, China, Korea, Japan, Africa, Hawaii, Pakistan, and Nepal. The Indian Caste system may be the most well known and classically includes at least five groups:Brahmins: the Priestly and highest caste, the Warrior Caste, Merchant Caste, The Peasant Caste, and the "Untouchables" such as lepers. The Indian caste system is extremely complicated.Gautama Buddha: founder of Buddhism, Mahavira: founder of Jainism, and Nanak: founder of Sikhism, all opposed the caste system and welcomed members of all social ranks. Early Christianity also opposed class based divisions as embraced members of many classes, although a comparable caste system did not exist in Judaism.
Buddhism has no belief in caste system. It frankly rejected the caste system.
People tend to cling to their religious beliefs, and the caste system is a long established part of Hinduism. It is also true that people of high caste are usually quite happy to benefit from the caste system, at the expense of people of lower caste. It is very similar to the aristocratic system which once dominated European society. Those who benefit from the system, fight to perpetuate it.
