Abraham Lincoln showed great fairness when he was younger. While working in a shop, a customer bought some tea but wasn't given exactly what she paid for. (Example: If she bought 16 ounces of tea for three dollars, she paid the three dollars but only received 12 ounces- this not the exact amount of tea she really bought and not the right price either, just an example). That night while Abe was closing up shop and counting the money, he discovered the overpaid tea. He quickly closed the shop, grabbed the tea, and rushed down to her house to give it to her. Another time some one forgot their change at the counter. He then again closed up shop and ran down to her house to deliver the few cents that were left on the counter. This is not all he has done that is fair and honest, but one of the reason he got the name "Honest Abe".
