The model T changed America greatly it made toys for the rich (cars) affordable for the working person. This is just an example I don't actually know the exact numbers but let's say that a car before the model T costs twenty years wages to buy after the model T a car (model T) would cost two years wages to buy.

It put the average American on wheels. Prior to the Model T only the very rich could own a car. The Model T got cheaper each and every year it was produced. It was a car almost anyone could afford. It was also very simple and easy to repair so you need not have your own mechanic to keep it running.
