The mintmark, if any, would be a small letter located below the tail of the eagle on the back of the coin, between and just above the letters "D" and "O" in "DOLLAR". An "O" would signify that the coin was produced at the New Orleans, Louisiana mint, "S" signifies San Francisco, California, "CC" signifies Carson City, Nevada, and a lack of a mintmark means that the coin was produced at the Philadelphia, Pensylvania mint.

Oh, what a delightful coin to have, friend! The value of a 1891 Liberty Head silver dollar can vary based on its condition and rarity. I recommend reaching out to a trusted coin dealer or doing some research online to get an idea of its current value. Remember, every coin has a story to tell, and yours is no exception. Happy coin collecting!
You can't tell where ANY coin was circulated because there's no way to track where it was spent and how it travelled during its existence. You can, however, tell where a coin was minted by looking for the mint mark. On a Peace dollar it's near the word ONE:No mint mark = PhiladelphiaD = DenverS = San Francisco
you can tell it's real by the silver. If its real silver it is real. Get it?? I hope that helped you.
Not being certain which half dollar you have, I can tell you that there was never an "A" or a "N" mint mark. The letters you should find will be a "D", an "S", an "O", a "P" or a "CC"

Look for the mint mark.
Better tell that to the US Mint as I am holding one in my hand as we speak.
It will have "CC" in the mint mark position, on the reverse side above the DO in DOLLAR.
You can tell if a 1979 silver dollar is a type S or P by looking at the mint mark. If the coin has an "S" mint mark, it was minted in San Francisco. If it has a "P" mint mark, it was minted in Philadelphia.

The ONLY 1971 Eisenhower dollar to have any silver (just 40%) is the "S" mint-marked Proof or Uncirculated coins that were sold from the US Mint. No other 1971 dated coins contain any silver.
Sorry, silver dollars don't have genders.

Nothing most likely. It is not an official mint product, it has next to no collector demand, unless it is made out of silver it is worthless. If it is made out of silver it is worth the price of the silver in the coin. Since non-mint products have no set composition, I cannot tell you what it is made out of and how much silver (if any) is in the coin.
In 1996, proof silver eagles were minted at the Philadelphia Mint and these coins bear the "P" mintmark. Bullion silver eagle coins do not have mintmarks. A 1996 silver eagle without a mintmark is a bullion coin and was struck at the San Francisco Mint.
