The U.S. Mint produced a total of approximately 1.2 billion 2000 Roosevelt dimes. These coins were minted in both Philadelphia and Denver, with the Philadelphia mint producing around 1.2 billion and the Denver mint about 2.4 million. The 2000 dimes are primarily made of a clad composition of copper and nickel.

In 1885 the US mint at Carson City, Nevada struck 228,000 silver Morgan Dollars. Dollars were the only coins being struck at Carson City in 1885 although dimes, quarters and half dollars had been minted there in prior years.
In 1867 there were many more denominations of coins than today. Denominations minted that year were:1¢ (minted in bronze)2¢ (minted in bronze)3¢ (minted in both silver and copper-nickel)5¢ (half-dimes, minted in silver)5¢ (minted in copper-nickel)10¢ (dime, silver)25¢ (quarter, silver)50¢ (half, silver)$1.00 (minted as both large silver coins and small gold coins)$2.50 (quarter eagle, gold)$3.00 (gold)$5.00 (half eagle, gold)$10.00 (eagle, gold)$20.00 (double eagle, gold)
About 140 MILLION 2009 dimes were minted, compared with 1 to 3 BILLION of other dimes each year. (Allegedly, it was believed that there were too many dimes in circulation, so they wanted to cut back on the number produced.) While not rare, they may be worth something to a collector since they are not easy to find in circulation. A 2009 P (I believe) sold on eBay a few years ago for $30. So they are worth what someone will pay for them...10 cents. Hundreds of millions were minted and they're far too common and too new to have any added value.

Oh, dude, you're really making me do math right now? Okay, fine. There are 20 dimes in a dollar, so in 2000 dollars, you'd have 40,000 dimes. But like, who even uses dimes anymore? Just Venmo me instead.
