They often died during the journey to North America

All of them, eventually.
Estimates suggest that between 1.2 to 2.4 million enslaved Africans died during the transatlantic slave trade before reaching the Americas. This death toll occurred due to harsh conditions during the Middle Passage, including overcrowding, disease, malnutrition, and mistreatment. Overall, it is believed that around 15-20% of those enslaved did not survive the journey.

Nobody knows, because nobody bothered to count thoroughly, but I can assure you: a lot and too many.
The slaves were treated horribly by a lot of people but some people were not cruel to the slaves. On slave ships coming to America from Africa it was horrible. The slaves were all chained together chained together and were only fed potatoes. The slaves often died on ships. If a slave died on a ship, they would be dumped. The slaves were kept in the lower part of a ship. It lacked anything clean and was full of infection. Some of the slaves attempted to jump over bored to die.
because they died
he died in 1020 in North America
He didn't and he never knew about North America. He died a failure, broke, and sick..
Your question is to vague. Do you mean in the world? The US? North America, South America, Central America, Europe? Not as many as have died in traffic accidents.
The horse evolved over the continents of Europe, Asia, and North America. The horse died out in North America and was reintroduced by Spanish and viking explorers.
Slaves were bought from tribes people from within Africa and sold to slave traders that cam and went on that coast. These slaves were bought into many harbors in America, primarily in the Southern States to be bought as workers in the cotton fields and other various minial jobs. Two interesting points that I learn recently. Free Black Individuals were allowed (and did indeed) to own slaves in the south. Abe Lincoln never lived to see the end of slavery. He died shortly after the civil war ended. Slavery was not made illegal until the December after his death. The end of the civil war did not end slavery either. The slaves in northern states (yes, there were slaves states in the north during the war!) remained slaves after the war ended. Did you also know that there were black soldiers in the south during the war fighting against the north? The issue was a states rights issue.
