All coin prices depend on characteristics of the coin itself. THe wear and condition of the dime play a huge role of its pricing. Along with its mintage of almost 18 million the coin is pretty common. It has a .900 silver composition, so its always worth its silver. A 1901 dime with sell for right around 2-3 dollars. A barber dime like this would de a great gift to a child or grandchild. If your 1901 dime is in very very nice shape it can be worth 70-120 dollars in some cases.

I would check out pcgs.com for more up-to-date pricing and for more information about pricing.
