This is not from 1829 and has no gold in it. The mint mark, motto and date (2008) is on the edge of the coin. Look at the front of the coin below the image you will see 7th president 1829-1837 these dates refer to his term of office. The coins are used today and are just a dollar. Collector coins from the mint are the only ones that are worth more than a dollar, values are $1.50-$2.00 in MS-65
-dogtoot2 says- is it an origianal gold coin from 1829? if so id love to see some pictures (i consider my self an Andrew Jackson fanatic)
A silver 1829 5 cent coin is worth between £30 and £80
Please post new question with a denomination.
Not gold or old. The date 2008 is on the edge of the coin and it's made from brass. The dual dates 1825-1829 are the years John Quincy Adams served as president. It's just a dollar.

If it has an image of Andrew Jackson on it, then it's part of the current Presidential dollar series and is worth one dollar.

If you mean the recent $1 coin, it's worth $1.

If the dates actually read 1825-1829, and the coin has an image of President John Quincy Adams on one side, then it's a modern presidential $1 coin, minted in 2008, worth $1.
You need to provide a denomination, an estimate of condition and a mint-mark (if any) for us to accurately evaluate your coin.

The first buffalo nickels were made in 1913. Please check your coin again and post a new question.
To a coin collector a holed coin is not collectible and therefore would have no value beyond it's silver content ($2-$3). Except for a very rare variety the 1829 dimes are fairly common and can be bought for under $50 in circulated condition with no damage.
Those are the years John Quincy Adams was President. The coin is mostly copper, not gold, and yes, it's real money, worth one dollar.
