Your question implies only one "native American tribe" - but in reality, throughout the Americas there are many hundreds if not thousands of tribes.

"How old" these tribes are depends on the history or prehistory of each one; some only formed during the historic era, when white people were around to record the fact. Most date to long before anyone was writing down what was happening (which is what "prehistoric" means), so we can have no idea when those tribes formed.

There is some support for the "oldest" native American groups being those that penetrated furthest south, to Tierra del Fuego at the southernmost tip of South America: the Ona, Haush, Yaghan and Alacaluf tribes. Not every historian agrees with this concept.
