August 2, 2009 The 1895 Barber Quarter was produced at 3 US Mint facilities; Philadelphia which is represented by 1895-P, New Orleans, which is represented by 1895-O, and San Francisco which is represented by 1895-S. To determine which coin you have locate the mint mark on the reverse [tails] side of the coin just beneath the eagle. An "O" will be New Orleans, an "S" will be San Francisco and no letter at all will be Philadelphia. The values for these coins in various grades is shown below.
