It depends on the weight of the cotton fabric per yard. A typical lightweight cotton fabric might weigh around 4-5 ounces per square yard. So it would take about 16-20 yards of this fabric to weigh one pound.

there is no difference actually. A cotton mill has many power looms. A power loom is a machine that weaves clothes and 15 to 20 power looms are present in a mill. In small scale mills, only 2-3 power looms or 12-13 hand looms (machine that weaves clothes by hand) are present. hand made cotton is of better quality but production is low.

Disadvantage: easy to crease, shrink, easy deformation and sun-discolouration. 4, Wool fabric: the material of this fabric are wool, cony hair, camel hair and wool type chemical fiber, mianly material is wool. It is a kind of high grade garment textile, good elasticity, anti-wrinkle, stiff and smooth, durable wear, good heat preservation, comfortable and beautiful and pure color. Advantage: wear-resisting, heat preservation, hygroscopicity &permeability, soft and good elasticity, the pilling degree is according to the different species. It has charring taste of protein once burning. Disadvantage: easy to crease, shrink, and easy deformation. 5, Chemical fiber fabric: It is always popular among people because of big fastness, good elasticity, stiff and smooth, durable wear, and easy to keep and storage.
