Looks like JFD. Would look different, depending depending on the penmanship of person writing it. F is for Finis which is a strange name. Southrons often had strange middle names based on their mother's maiden name, but her's was Cook. Dictionary says fenis means the end. Why would somebody name thee kid "the end?"
Complicated man was old JFD, in Mexican -American War as decotated hero and junior officer became close friend and mentor of another junior officer, one U.S Grant. While in the Senate, authored and successfully pushed bill to expand and modernize the capital building as a symbol of unity and federal power, while espousing state's rights against federal power. Promoted broadening of sufferage (the vote) while restricting qualifications for office to an "elite." Later, as Secretary of War, took over rebuilding of Capital, modernized and insisted on standing Army to resist insurrection, while promoting federal arming of state militias. While president of a Confederacy with limited powers, demanded right of central government to control militias, draft soldiers, control commerce, and levy direct taxes .
I bllame it all on bizarre middle name. Not to mention his first name, derived from Geoffry meaning peace or stranger or maybe hostage or Davis from David - beloved. Or it coulda been his inability to grow more than a wispy lil beard.
JFD
Please take another look. That's Benjamin Franklin on the half dollar. Jefferson is on the US nickel.

There is no such thing as an 1803 U.S. nickel. You have a Lewis & Clark commemorative nickel that was minted in 2004. Turn it over and look next to Jefferson's portrait. These are worth exactly 5 cents.
2004. Please turn the coin over and look next to the tail of Jefferson's wig.
Abe Lincoln, im sure but if not just look it up!
During life, Jefferson Davis had an average body frame, somewhat wavy hair and a strong nose. He sometimes had facial hair. He died in 1889 and is buried in Hollywood Cemetery, VA.
In my humble opinion the question should be either: "How did Thomas Jefferson look?" (without the like) "What did Thomas Jefferson look like?" (whith what instead of how) I hope you find this comment helpful when you are looking for the answer to your question. In addition to this I'd like to add another question: How/What does Jennifer Lopez look _/like naked?
