An antinomian is someone who doesn't believe in the universality of morals. I.e someone who believes that morals change distinctly with the times. One could use it as a way to justify something like racism. Has to do with cultural relativism.

Samuel Bolton has written: 'The true bounds of Christian freedom' -- subject(s): Antinomianism, Law and gospel
Antinomianism in the Bible challenges traditional interpretations of moral law and religious authority by advocating for the belief that faith alone, not adherence to laws or rules, is necessary for salvation. This challenges the idea that following religious laws and authorities is the only way to be righteous in the eyes of God.
It was founded in the 1630's by Anne Hutchinson. She was banished because this assertion was a threat to the religious government of the Bay Colony.
Antinomianism, the belief that under the gospel dispensation of grace, the moral law is of no use, was notably associated with Anne Hutchinson in the 17th century. She was a Puritan spiritual leader in colonial Massachusetts who challenged the established religious authorities, leading to her trial and subsequent banishment in 1638. Hutchinson's views were seen as a threat to the Puritan orthodoxy, resulting in her denouncement for promoting beliefs that contradicted the prevailing interpretations of scripture.
Anne Hutchinson was convicted of heresy during the Antinomian Controversy. This Puritan conflict took place in the Massachusetts Bay Colony from 1636 to 1638.
I have not been able to find a direct definition of a religious colony, but I would assume that yes, Rhode Island was a religious colony as it was basically formed by the followers of Anne Hutchinson, the founder of Antinomianism.
Anne Hutchinson believed that one would not need a church nor bible to communicate with God.
