Look on the back of the coin to see if there's a small mint mark letter below the eagle. It may be blank or there may be a D, O or S.

No mint mark (Philadelphia):

Very worn condition - $720

Moderately worn - $740

Slightly worn - $760

Almost no wear - $792

Uncirculated - $860 to $43,880 depending on quality

"D" mint mark (Denver):

Very worn - $720

Moderately worn - $740

Slightly worn - $760

Almost no wear - $792

Uncirculated - $860 to $12,760

"O" mint mark (New Orleans):

Very worn - $720

Moderately worn - $740

Slightly worn - $760

Almost no wear - $836

Uncirculated - $1,310 to $31,730

"S" mint mark (San Francisco):

Very worn - $720

Moderately worn - $740

Slightly worn - $760

Almost no wear - $792

Uncirculated - $860 to $43,880
