You have a Coronet Head $5 Dollar Half Eagle. If it has a (CC) Mintmark and in good condition it could be worth thousands. Double Eagle = $20 Eagle = $10 Half Eagle = $5 Quarter Eagle= $2.50
"double eagle penny" is kind of an oxymoron. A double eagle coin has a face value of $20. However, a gold coin is probably worth considerably more than face value.
More information is needed, as an eagle is found on all U.S. quarters dated before 1999.

The first U.S. quarter was issued in 1796. It is a Draped Bust type with the small eagle reverse. Also this coin does not have a "Mark of Value" such as 25 CENTS or Quarter Dollar.
